A Universal Language Rooted in History

Language is what connects us, but what happens when words fail? When they’re not enough to express what we truly feel?

Charles K. Bliss faced this question during one of history’s darkest times.

A Holocaust survivor, Bliss believed the world needed a language that couldn’t be manipulated,  one that was clear, universal, and accessible to all.

That belief led to the creation of the Bliss Alphabet, a system of ideographic symbols designed to eliminate the ambiguities of spoken language. Each symbol conveyed a precise concept, allowing people to understand one another without barriers, without confusion, without limitations.

Today, the Bliss Alphabet remains a vital tool for assisted communication, helping those who cannot speak express their thoughts. But its legacy is much greater: a language that unites, gives voice, and connects.

The Beauty of Symbols

Like the Bliss Alphabet, wine is a language of its own, one that speaks through taste, aroma, and tradition.

A raised glass carries the same meaning whether you’re in Tuscany, Japan, or New York. No matter what language you speak, wine conveys a universal message: celebration, connection, and shared moments.

That’s why we chose to feature the Bliss Alphabet symbols on our wine labels. Before a wine is tasted, it is felt. Each bottle isn’t just a product, it’s an invitation to share an experience, a story told through symbols rather than words.

A Label That Tells a Story

Why put a symbol on a wine bottle?
Because wine isn’t just something you drink, it’s something you experience. It brings people together, sparks emotions, and creates lasting memories.

By combining two silent languages, the Bliss Alphabet and the language of wine, we’ve reimagined how a label can tell a story.

Every bottle in our new collection carries a Bliss Alphabet symbol, a mark that doesn’t just describe the wine, it expresses an emotion, a moment, a message that anyone, anywhere, can understand.

These three new labels aren’t just names for wines. They capture the essence of an experience.
